I think I get as excited as my kids do about their holiday class parties. I love creating fun treats and creating fun games for the kids to play. I created this low prep, super fun Santa Says party game for Christmas parties this year.

To Play
This game is a fun spin on Simon Says. You need at least three people to play: a leader and two players.
The leader asks players to do things listed on this Santa Says game printable, such as raise your hand or dance. If the leader says, “Santa Says dance”, players should perform the action. If the leader simply says, “dance”, players should not perform the action.
Players are eliminated in two different ways:
- Not doing the action when the leader says “Santa Says”.
- Doing the action when the leader does not “Santa Says” with the action.
The object of the game is for the leader to get everyone out as quickly as possible. The winner of the game is the last player left following all the directions.
To Prep
The prep for this game is amazingly easy. You only need to print this Santa Says game on 8 1/2×11″ paper and gather your players.

Looks like a lot of fun! I especially love the seasonal commands. Kids of all ages love Simon Says – I used to do a challenging version with my fifth graders as a brain break.
Thanks Heather! I tried to make it uniform to several grades and limited classroom space.
Coming up with good games for the class is a skill. Saving this idea in case I need it for one of my kids’ classes.
Thanks Christy! There are some we do every year because the kids love them, but we like to mix it up with some new ones.
Thank you.
