I stopped at our local christian bookstore yesterday and found two great resources to use in teaching our children the true meaning of Easter.  I also used them in my Sunday school class of preschoolers and kindergartens today.

great resources for teaching children the true meaning of Easter~DVD & resurrection eggs

We have a few Biblical DVDs in our collection of DVDs, but I realized that we did not have any that contain the full Easter story in one segment, so I picked up this DVD.  The Easter story is 25 minutes.  This DVD also contains The Story of The Nativity and The Story of Moses.

I love these eggs.  The kids get see, touch, and hear the resurrection story.  They each got to open a couple of the eggs and find the surprise in the egg.  Each egg contains a symbol representing the resurrection story.
