I am linking up again this week for Friday Favorites with Momfessionals, A Little Bit of Everything, and Grace and Love.  Get link at bottom of page for other places I am linking up.

This week I got a little crafty and there’s more to come.  Our oldest loves giving ALL his teachers (library, PE, PE helpers, etc) gifts and I love creating and putting together fun little gifts and cards for them.  Our preschooler will be helping me make thank you cards for the community helpers that volunteered their time in his class this year.  The end of our school year is fast approaching (May 8th!).

I was so excited by how this project turned out earlier this week.  I found a craft challenge I wanted to participate in and this month was a paper bag.  I was stumped for awhile, but inspiration finally came and I love the end result.  Click here to see this transformation.  Click here to see and/or participate in the craft challenge.  There are some very creative people linking up!

I also got creative in making these mother’s day cards.  I used to enjoy scrapbooking, but don’t have the time for it these days.  These cards allowed me to use a lot of the same tools and products.  Click here to see how I made these cards and get the acrostic poems I put inside the cards.

I was at Target this week and picked up a few things…these scarfs included.  I never leave Target empty handed.  I also bought some fun things I will be using to put together Mother’s Day baskets.   Come back next week to see what I create.  You will be seeing these scarves on Wednesdays in my “What I Wore” posts.

I picked these shoes up at Sam’s Club last week and they are soooooo comfy.  I wore them for the first time on Wednesday for a full day of appointments, errands, and shopping.  I love how comfy they are.   Come back Wednesday for “What I Wore” and see the whole outfit.

One day this week I got to spend several hours without the kids shopping and running errands.  A lot of it was shopping for groceries and mother and teacher appreciation gifts, but I squeezed in a few fun stops for me.  I love thrift shopping and found several things this day.  I picked this up at our local Goodwill.  It’s not very pretty now, but I have a few ideas for its transformation…stay tuned.
