Grandparents day sneaks up on us most years as we are winding down from summer and adjusting to the return of school. The grandparents do not live near and we have to mail their grandparent day gift, so it is imperative that we get a head start. This year we managed to do just that.

This summer while at the lake with one set of grandparents, the kids were eating peanuts (the ones in the shell) with grandma and left quite the mess in grandpa’s vehicle.
I thought grandpa and grandma would enjoy this gift and the memories it would bring back of the two weeks we spent with them.
It’s a super easy and inexpensive gift to put together.

Our kids refer to their grandparents as grandpa & grandma, but I know there are a lot of other names kids use in reference to their grandparents. If you need one not on the list, please leave a comment and I will do my best to get it for you.
