Our youngest two kids love doing art projects, coloring, and practicing what they are learning.  The Dollar Tree is a great place to pick up basic staples like paper, coloring books and crayons.

Dollar Tree education books

Our preschoolers love doing learning workbooks and practicing their colors, numbers, shapes, letters, and sounds.  They can go through one book in a couple of days.   Luckily I can find them at the Dollar Tree for $1.  The Dollar Tree also carries flashcards and learning workbooks for Kindergartners-2nd graders.

Dollar Tree coloring booksThe Dollar Tree has a big selection of coloring and activity books.  Does your child have favorite characters?   They have you covered with their large selection of character coloring and activity books. Coloring books are great for quiet time activities.  We always have coloring books with us for church and appointments in which we may have to wait.

Dollar Tree art pads & construction paper

Our kids are constantly asking for paper to draw and/or write on.  It is so convenient to  hand them one these scribble pads that I have picked up at Dollar Tree for $1.  We are constantly doing art projects and go through a lot of construction paper.  I use these large (18×12) sheets of art paper for painting.

Dollar Tree marker and crayons

We go through a lot of crayons and markers and I am so glad I can restock for just $1.  There always seems to be at least one marker dried out each time I reach for the markers.  Someone either does not putt the lid back on at all or tight enough.  We go through a lot of crayons from frequent usage and from the little ones breaking them while they are learning to hold and use them properly.

***Did I mention that all everything is just $1.***
