This week I am reading The Luckiest St. Patrick’s Day Ever for storytime at my son’s preschool.

Our craft this week is a silly face shamrock using our pom-pom painters.

Shamrock Silly Face Pom-Pom Painting

For this project you will need: shamrock picture, pom-pom painters (pom-poms & clothespins), green paint, scissors, googly eyes, glue, and black marker.

Print picture here: Shamrock

Paint the shamrock green using pom-pom painters, let dry, and cut out.  I cut them out for the kids.  My 5 year could have done this successfully, but my 3 year old would have had some difficulty.  Glue on the googly eyes and use marker to draw the rest of your face.

Neither of them had any trouble with glue and googly eyes.  They let their imaginations run wild and went crazy.
