Book+Craft “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie”

I have a book and craft for you today.  We love Laura Numeroff’s If You Give….books.  Today we  are reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.

We are making chocolate chip cookies using just 3 items: paper plate, pencil, and black paint.

We love finding different and unique tools for painting, so today we tried pencils.

What you need:

1. Black paint
2. Pencil
3. Small paper plate-I found brown paper plates, but you could definitely use a white paper plate and have your child paint it brown.

How to:

1. Dip pencil eraser in black paint
2. Dot “chocolate chips” (black paint) onto plate
