Today I am using supplies from the Dollar Tree to make a patriotic wreath for under $5.00.

I saw these foam stars on sticks in a package of 3 for a $1.00.

I knew the kids would have fun playing with them as they were, but I wanted just the stars.

With a little tug (they are glued in), the sticks came right out.  Use a hot glue gun to glue the stars together at two of the tips.  The foam USA also came in a package of three on a stick.  Hot glue it in the center of the top two stars.

The wreath took ten foam stars to make.  Purchase four packages of star sticks.  You will have two star sticks leftover for the kids or another project.

Patriotic wreath for Memorial Day, 4th of July, or any day from items purchased at Dollar Tree. Costs under $5 to make.

Very cute! I love seeing things made from items found at the Dollar Store. I’m not always creative enough to see all the possibilities but I love what you came up with!
