Today I am sharing some gifts our kids have gotten their daddy for past father’s days and what we are getting our father’s this year. Some years are bigger gifts and some are smaller. Some years we just do homemade and those are the most special.
The Family Handyman ~This one might be a little selfish…I’m always hopeful he will create some the of the great projects they feature.
DEWALT DC970K-2 18-Volt Drill/Driver Kit ~When we bought our current home a few years back, we needed to build a privacy fence. At the time my husband owned a Black and Decker drill. A friend came and helped him bringing along his Dewalt cordless drill. My husband did not want to return it, so we bought him one the next father’s day and he uses all the time.
DEWALT DW1354 14-Piece Titanium Drill Bit Set ~My husband (or his helpers aka the kids) is always losing or breaking bits, so we have given him new bits to replace the original ones.
DEWALT DW2166 45-Piece Screwdriving Set ~Again we are replacing lost or broken ones.
Masterbuilt 20051311 GS30D 2-Door Propane Smoker ~My husband worked in a barbecue restaurant several years ago and loved it, so we purchased this smoker for him last father’s day. The whole family has benefited from this gift. I love it, because he does all the cooking and clean up and we usually get a 2-3 meals out of the meat we smoke.
H2T Collection Four Main Compartments 17″ Laptop Case – Business Briefcase Black ~This bag has worked great for my husband…he never puts just his laptop in his work bag. He had gone through two bags before getting this one. This bag is made really well and meant to hold a few other things.
Callaway HEX Warbird Golf Balls, White ~He does not get out to golf as much as he wants to, but he has the occasional outing or work event on the golf course. These our inexpensive and easy gift to pick up for father’s day.
The Official NASCAR Trivia Book: With 1001 Facts and Questions to Test Your Racing Knowledge ~My dad is a huge NASCAR fan, so we picked this book up for him.
The President’s Shadow (The Culper Ring Series) ~My father-in-law is an avid reader, so we will pick up a couple of books for him from one of his favorite authors. The trick is finding one he has not yet read.
