This week I am linking up again with Momfessionals and A Little Bit of Everything to bring you my Friday Favorites.
Looking forward to celebrating this day.
I found these Resurrection Eggs last weekend at a local christian bookstore and used them in my Sunday School class to teach the resurrection story to my young kids. They come with a storybook and each egg contains symbols of the Resurrection story. My own kids as well as the kids in my Sunday School loved using them in learning the story of Easter. You can order them through Amazon by clicking here: Resurrection Eggs.
I put spring as a favorite a couple of weeks ago, but I am loving the springtime weather we are having right now. I love that we can play outside without the heat and mosquitoes. The kids have been playing outside every day and coming in at night dirty and tired. We have had many picnic lunches outside and played at the park. We have a trip planned to the local zoo soon. The windows and doors are open letting in fresh air before the heat and bugs take over.
In the summer I am a flip flops girl and for many years I bought cheap flip flops at Gap or Old Navy. I usually picked up a few different colors since they were so cheap. Last year I bought a pair of Nike flip flops and loved them. I wore them all summer, so I picked up a new pair this week. Click here to get a pair for yourself. Once you try them, you will never go back…they are that comfy.
Normally I do a post at at the end of each month of the books I read during the month. Unfortunately I did not have a lot of time for reading in March, so I skipped the book review at the end of March. There is one book that I studied a lot this month and wanted to highlight here.
I am a book in hands/paper and pencil person, so I printed all 198 pages of this ebook. I am so glad I did! I highlighted, made notes, and have referenced it several times. Chelsea goes through each month of her first year blogging highlighting what she did to draw traffic to her blog and make money. Chelsea has a food blog and while there is content in her book that only relates to food blogs, most of it can be applied to any blog. She talks alot about the importance of photography and gives feedback on ad networks and other income streams she has used. Her book is a great resource if you want to grow your blog and make money from it.
