I’m Back…Meal Planning Week #16

I’m so excited to be back with another meal plan.  If you have been following me for awhile, you probably saw that halfway through the summer I had to put meal planning on hold.  We travel a lot during the summer and when we are home in the summer we are often at the pool and head home for a quick and easy dinner.

School has been back in session for about three weeks now and I have been struggling to get dinner on the table.  The kids walk in the door proclaiming that they are starving and acting as if they have not eaten in days rather than just a few hours.

Before we know it, 5:00 has arrived and I am standing in the kitchen going through the refrigerator and pantry trying to throw something together for dinner.  No thank you, back to meal planning for me.

I have high hopes to do a month long meal plan.  In the Fall our weekends are often filled with sporting activities and family outings like trips to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch.  I would rather enjoy my weekends and not have to worry about sitting down and doing the weekly meal plan.

Until that point I will continue to post my weekly meal plans here.

I’m so glad you are back to doing meal plans! I run out of ideas and could use help for our meal planning.

I am too! Dinnertime the last two weeks has been way too stressful. 5pm came everyday and I had no idea what I was going to cook. Hope they give you some inspiration.
