Growing up one of my favorite Christmas traditions was making cookies and other yummy treats during the holidays with mom. I have tried to extend that tradition to my family. We make some of my mom’s tried and trued recipes and some of our own. These White Chocolate Pretzels are something I started making with the kids several years ago.

They are super easy to make and have been the only treat we made some years. We had a baby born a couple days before Thanksgiving one year and two years later, we had one born just days before Christmas. There was no rolling out sugar cookies and making candy those years. We were able to keep the tradition alive with this white chocolate pretzels.
The kids love to help make these pretzels. They load on the sprinkles and do a little sampling along the way.
Ingredients:
- Pretzels (we used the bigger ones, but you can also use the smaller ones or the rods)
- Vanilla flavored almond bark
- Sprinkles (we used the red and green crystals)
Note: You can also use white chocolate. I prefer almond bark. I think it melts and coats better.
Directions:
1. Melt almond bark according to the package directions.
2. Add pretzels 1 or 2 a at time to the melted almond bark and coat.
3. Use tongs to transfer the pretzel from the bowl to wax paper.
4. Sprinkle with sprinkles right away and allow to hardened.
5. Break off any excess almond bark and enjoy.
Put these in a cute box or a plastic bag with a gift tag and you have a great homemade Christmas gift
