We have been missing out. I had never done salad spinner artwork with the kids until this last weekend. It was so much fun! The entire family enjoyed it and everyone made their own art.

My kids pull the salad spinner out and rescue it from collecting dust all the time, but we never used it for artwork. They just have fun pushing down on the spinner. Occasionally a toy or two will make it into the spinner and go for a ride.
This weekend we added paint and had so much fun creating this fun and colorful artwork.
There is some clean up afterwards, but it really does not require much to get started.
