Transform yarn into a colorful yarn fall tree kid craft. The yarn adds color and texture to your fall craft.
It doesn’t feel like fall until I start to see the rues of orange, red, and yellow across the trees. My kids always love making big piles leaves once the leaves have fallen to the ground and jumping into the piles over and over again. They have spent hours outdoors engaging in this simple activity. We have had years in which the piles have remained until the crunchy leaves have all been crushed from hours of jumping.

Directions for Yarn Fall Tree Kid Craft
1. To get started on your yarn fall tree kid craft, cut your tree from brown paper and glue to another piece of paper. We used a light blue piece of paper. You could turn this into a handprint craft by tracing your child’s hand and arm. Their fingers would become the branches of the tree and their arm would be the trunk.
2. Cut pies of yarn that will be the leaves for your fall tree. We used red, yellow, orange and brown to represent fall leaves.
3. Lightly apply glue to the branches of your tree using a paintbrush.
4. Place your cut pieces of yarn onto your tree. You could also add some around the bottom of your tree for fallen leaves.
