We love, love, love using bubble wrap in our crafts. We made Bubble Wrap Jellyfish this summer, Bubble Wrap Easter Eggs in the spring, and Bubble Wrap Snowmen in the winter. A fall bubble wrap project was past due. Painting this fall tree kid craft with bubble wrap is one of my favorite bubble wrap projects!
We love trading in our paintbrushes and finding fun and creative ways to paint, like this Jackson Pollock Inspired Splatter Art or Sponge Painted Apple. It’s usually stuff we having laying around the house, like the bubble wrap we used for this project.

The supplies for this fall tree craft are really simple, paper, paint and of course bubble wrap.

- Paint (we used red, orange, yellow, brown)
- Brown paper (cardstock or construction paper)
- Background paper (we used light blue cardstock)
- Glue
- Scissors

Directions
1. Put a little of each color of paint onto a plate.
2. Ball up your bubble wrap so it forms kind of a dabber to paint. I tied off the top with a rubber band to make it easier for the kids to use.
3. Cut a trunk from the brown paper and glue it to your background paper.
4. Dab your bubble wrap into the paint getting a little of each color on your bubble wrap. You don’t want to completely mix the colors, but you do want them to blend slightly. You also might want to have a piece of scrap paper nearby to dab your bubble wrap onto a time or two before dabbing it on your tree to avoid gobs of paint all in one spot.
5. Dab your bubble wrap onto the tree to form fall leaves until it looks full or your child decides they are done.
Note: We prepped way too much paint (as shown in the photo)! It takes very little paint to complete the project. Two-three dabs with the bubble wrap and your fall tree is done.
