Sponge Painted Pumpkin Craft

With just a few basic supplies and easy to follow directions, this is an easy, inexpensive, and fun pumpkin craft for fall, Halloween or Thanksgiving. Easily transforms into a jack o' lantern.

We loved trading in our paintbrushes for sponges to paint apples, so we decided to repeat the process and make a sponge painted pumpkin craft. We then turned our sponged painted pumpkin craft into a jack 0' lantern. Apple Volcanoes Science Experiment

These apple volcanoes combine the classic baking soda and vinegar reaction to create a fun and simple science activity for kids. We took this one step further and asked the kids to make predications. fall | science experiment | STEM

Baking soda and vinegar experiments are huge at our house! I'm constantly out of one or the other and have to keep a stash hidden from my little scientists. They love to watch the chemical reaction that occurs when you combine the two. I knew they would love apple volcanoes, but wanted to take it a step further.
