Growing up we always had an Easter basket full of candy. We had the traditional chocolate bunny, jelly beans, peeps, chocolate eggs, robin eggs, cadbury eggs, and peanut butter eggs. That’s a lot of eggs!
I don’t know how mom did it. We lived on a big farm, so maybe she sent us outside to burn off the sugar.
Fast forward several years and no farm to burn off a sugar high, so I’m always on the hunt for non candy wasys to fill our kids’Easter baskets.
We always include the traditional chocolate bunny and a few jelly beans in our kids Easter baskets but try to opt for some non candy ways to fill the kids buckets.
