I tried two new recipes this week and they both were fantastic! My goal is to try at least one new recipe a week, but there was not time in the last few weeks. This last week we tried Oven Roasted Smoked Sausage & Potatoes and Mongolian Beef. The Mongolian Beef is a 30 minute meal and good for busy nights. We also got some fresh yummy strawberries from some friends this week and enjoyed them at several meals.

I’m not sure if I have ever shared this: the meal plan that I post each week is typically our meal plan from the past week. I like to try new recipes and want to make sure they are good recipes before including them on the plan for you. I also make additions to the meal plan before sharing it with you for those nights we do not eat at home, so you have seven nights of meals. Then there are those nights when I have something planned, but I don’t have enough left in me to prepare a full meal, so we opt for PB&J on those nights
