Our kids and so many readers loved our summer scavenger hunts and most recently fall scavenger hunts, so I was excited to make Winter & Christmas Scavenger Hunts! Our kids love scavenger hunts and are constantly asking to do them. I love having some made up that I quickly print off for them.

In addition to the scavenger hunts, we are giving away, there is an opportunity for you to win one of several gift cards from some of your favorite retailers (scroll to the bottom to enter).

Kids will have a lot of fun doing these winter and Christmas scavenger hunts. FREE PRINTABLE

1. A must do Christmas tradition for many is driving around the neighbor and oohing and aahing over all of your neighbor’s lights and Christmas decorations. Yes we even make the ooh and aah sound 🙂 Take this outdoor Christmas decoration scavenger hunt along and add to the fun.

2. This winter scavenger hunt will be a fun activity for your kids in the dead of winter, when Christmas is over and it’s cold and gray.

3. This Christmas scavenger hunt is meant to be a generic scavenger that can be used in a variety of situations whether you are at home or a party.

4. So many churches have beautiful nativities. Use this Nativity scavenger hunt as a way to educate kids on the Christmas story.

5. With the release of The Polar Express several years ago, it’s become a Christmas tradition for many. Whether you are just watching the movie or having a party, this Polar Express scavenger hunt is a fun extension to the movie or book.

6. Another Christmas tradition in our family is baking cookies…A LOT of cookies. The kids love helping and being involved. They help measure out ingredients, mix dough, cut out cookies, and add sprinkles…A LOT of sprinkles. Sometimes we have more sprinkles than cookies. This baking scavenger hunt is another fun way to get the kids involved in baking. Encourage kids to use it as a checklist to make sure you have all the items needed for baking.

Last year I did most of my shopping before Thanksgiving, and found that most of the best deals were after Thanksgiving. I hate last minute shopping, but this year I will not start until Black Friday. Thanks for the giveaway!

Sad to say but I do most of my Christmas shopping about 4 or 5 days before Christmas. 🙁

I do my Christmas shopping like a week before Christmas. Sometimes schedules just don’t work out and we’ll do Christmas with my husband’s family after Christmas has actually happened. I definitely buy their presents after Christmas when that happens. LOL!
